Remarks

BG Group is the largest producer of gas in Tunisia. The Miskar field, through the Hannibal gas treatment plant, currently provides around 40% of Tunisian domestic gas demand.  An upgrade of the Hannibal production facilities to process varying compositions of gas is complete.  Otherworks include Hannibal plant and Miskar platform upgrades, resulting in an additional facilities capacity of 5%.  Hydrogen sulphide will be processed into sulphuric acid, a more environmentally friendly solution.  A 60 kilometre condensate pipeline was commissioned in 2007 to transport Miskar condensate from Hannibal to La Skhira port.
